1
First difference analysis. Activating this check box will instruct WinORS to automatically
create a separate WinORS spreadsheet file that contains the results of first
differencing the actual data. This is
used in the process of attempting to correct for violations of the
auto-correlation assumption.
2
Durbin adjusted analysis.
Activating this check box will instruct WinORS to automatically create a
separate WinORS spreadsheet file that contains the results of taking the Durbin
adjustment (a partial first difference) of the actual data. This is used in the process of attempting to
correct for violations of the auto-correlation assumption.
3
WOLS or weighted ordinary least squares. Activating this check box will instruct
WinORS to automatically create a separate WinORS spreadsheet file that contains
the data used in the last regression with one additional column. The additional column contains weights that
are computed from the residual error term.
The weights are used as a means to correct for violations in the
constant variance assumption.
